Hello
I have created a portfolio but its does NOT appear if I click directly on the blog.
If you can tell me how to do it in french that would be helpful.

On some themes, the portfolio may be displayed on a page, which may or may not be used as the front page, using a Portfolio Page Template. Which theme are you using?

Okay. I presume that you’ve familiarized yourself with the Illustratr theme guide. Illustratr has a Portfolio Page Template page, but it doesn’t display automatically. You have to take the following steps.
1. If it is not already enabled, enable Portfolios Projects on the theme at Settings > Writing as mentioned in the original post of the topic linked to by timethief above.
2. Create a Portfolio project or multiple projects.
3. Create a page and assign to it the Portfolio Page Template.
4. Add a featured image if you would like one.
5. If you want the Portfolio Page Template to display on the front page, then at Settings > Reading assign the front page to display a static page, and chose the Portfolio page as the front page, and another page as the posts page.
6. You might also want to use a Custom Menu to provide links to the portfolio page, the posts page, etc.
That’s it.

Bien. Je suppose que vous vous êtes familiarisé avec le guide de Illustratr thème . Illustratr a une page Portefeuille modèle de page, mais il ne affiche pas automatiquement. Vous devez suivre les étapes suivantes.
1. Si cela n’a pas déjà activé, activez Portfolios Projets sur le thème à Paramètres> Écriture comme mentionné dans le message original du sujet lié à timethief par-dessus.
2. Créez un projet de portefeuille ou plusieurs projets.
3. Créez une page et lui attribuer le portefeuille modèle de page.
4. Ajouter un sélectionnée Image si vous souhaitez que l’un.
5. Si vous souhaitez que la page de portefeuille modèle à afficher sur la page d’accueil, puis à Réglages> Lecture assigner la page d’accueil pour afficher une page statique, et a choisi la page de portefeuille comme la première page, et une autre page que la page de messages.
6. Vous pouvez également utiliser un menu personnalisé à fournir des liens vers la page de portefeuille, la page des messages, etc.
Voilà.

Hello support team,

I bought the WordPress ‘GetPhoto’ theme and I’m a total beginner in setting up WordPress.

I Made some progress (http://glennsiegers.nl) but I can’t get a portfolio uploaded.

– Made a page > Portfolio
– GetPhoto Thema has a Portfolio setup in the menu.

Then I’m suppose to copy/paste a shortcode in my page (Portfolio) to activate the portfolio.

– Which shortcode should I use ?
– How do you create a shortcode ?
– where do I have to paste it on my page in order to get it activated?
– Which templates do I use

Kindly looking forward to your response .
