Portfolio item (video) showing on portfolio page, but not on detail page.

Hi, I’m trying to add a new portfolio item (a video) to my website. I already have a number of video portfolio items and I composed this new item the same was as previously. The video shows up with all of the others on the main ‘video’ page of the website, but when you click on the detail page, the video does not appear. I can embed the video (from YouTube), but it shows up with the text, instead of the main part of the portfolio detail page. Any ideas on why this might be happening?

On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.
If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help from the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead, or contact support for the specific portfolio plugin you’re using directly.

The site I admin is contegointernational.com. It was created by a website developer a number of years ago and this is the first problem I’ve had with creating posts or gallery items that I have not been able to solve with a search here or on google. I do not believe the site is using open source software as the theme the site is running on was purchased. Does this information help you answer my question? Thanks.

I can confirm you’re using the free WordPress.org software. We don’t have any access to that site, but here are some troubleshooting ideas you can work through:
– When did this last work for you?
– What’s changed since then?
– Use the Healthcheck plugin to troubleshoot themes and pluginsGoing forward, you’ll also want to use the correct forums for self-managed installations, at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
