Post by Email embedding Links

  How do I embed links in my post when using Post by Email? I’m using Thunderbird (on the PC) and Mail (on the iPad). I just tried to Post by Email via Thunderbird and the links to other blogs or pages did not work so I had to go into my account and fix it all up.
