Post Carousel Block
-
Good morning, I’ve been trying to get the Post Carousel Block to work but it keeps showing ‘Sorry, no posts were found.’ I have 5 posts at the moment and the Number of items set is 3. So according to the other help articles I read it should be working now but it keeps showing the same message. Is this a bug?

Hi there,
Were you able to sort this out on your own, or did you need a hand still? When I visit the homepage of https://teatiffteapots.wordpress.com/ I see there are 3 posts showing in the Blog Posts block there. Screenshot of what I see:

I ended up just putting the Blog Posts block instead of the Blog Carousel since it wasn’t working. It only shows three posts there but I have seven in the main posts area. Not really sure of why it keeps saying Sorry no posts found in the Post Carousel.

Ah, gotcha. The carousel is a visual representation of your blog posts (like a slideshow) but if you have not set an image for each of your posts, the carousel has no way to display them.
You can do this by making sure that you set a “Featured Image” for each of your blog posts, by following the steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/featured-images/
The carousel will not automatically pick an image at random from your blog post.
However, as long as your blog post has a featured image set, it will show in the carousel block without issue.Hope this helps!
