Post content to subpage

  Hello, I am having difficulty with getting certain content to show up on the desired subpage. For example, I have two subpages, Blog and Media Appearances, under the “Content” menu tab; I would like posts that are blogs (written by me) to show up under Blog while other posts composed of a linked article to show up on the Media appearances page.

  Also, my blog URL is currently set to soolmaza.wordpress.com, but I would like to change this. How can that be done?

  I would like posts that are blogs (written by me) to show up under Blog while other posts composed of a linked article to show up on the Media appearances page.

  So you have blog as a category, and a “Blog” link to the “blog” category archives page. That is fine. You could also use the URL https://soolmaza.wordpress.com/author/sabooali/ to display posts authored by you.

  The Media Appearances category page should have the URL https://soolmaza.wordpress.com/category/media-appearances/, but that URL doesn’t exist. That means the category “Media Appearances” is not assigned to any posts.

  It seems that you may be working on this presently as I just noticed that the category page “Featured In” (https://soolmaza.wordpress.com/category/featured-in/) was added to the menu under Content after I began to write this response.

  Yes, I am working on the site as we speak. I changed “Content”, “Blog”, and “Featured In” into categories…and that seemed to do the trick…

  Yesterday I deleted a site that I had created and named soolmazabooali.wordpress.com because I wanted to start over. I think that because of this action the system will not allow me to change the current blog address from soolmaza.wordpress.com to soolmazabooali.wordpress.com. It gives me the following message: “Sorry, that site has already been used!”. Any thoughts?

  You’re welcome.

  Yesterday I deleted a site that I had created and named soolmazabooali.wordpress.com because I wanted to start over.

  Unfortunately you will not be able to reuse that address. WordPress.com website addresses can not be recycled. See the support page Recycling Blog Address for an explanation.
