Post disappeared before updating it: can I retrieve it?

    The post I edited was deleted before I updated it, when my website went public. Can I get it back? The only revision is from ten hours and thousands of words ago…can wordpress send me the autosaves from the day I spent working on it, which seem to have disappeared when my site gained its official domain name?

    Hi,
    The blog site is actually globalcitizenfamily.com, and the title of the post was “hello world”. I’m wondering if it autosaved while I was working on it while it was still under a temporary domain, and somehow those autosaves did not transfer when it became the actual domain listed above.

    Hi there,

    https://globalcitizenfamily.com/ is not a WordPress.com site. That site is using the open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org, and is hosted on Bluehost’s servers.

    We have no access to the dashboard or database of that site at all, and subsequently we don’t have access to any revisions on that site.

    You see that site listed in your WordPress.com account because it is connected here by the Jetpack plugin, but that plugin only allows you to manage the site via the WordPress.com interface. Your site itself is not with us.

    Were you working on the post via the editor at My Site ->Blog Posts, or the one at https://globalcitizenfamily.com/wp-admin?

    If you were using the WordPress.com My Sites editor, it’s possible a connection problem between our system and the Jetpack plugin on your site could have prevented an update from syncing to your site on Bluehost’s servers. Unfortunately there’s no way to recover the content in that case.

    If you were working on your site’s native editor in WP-Admin, please ask in the self-hosted WordPress forums if there’s any way to get back that content:
