Post Has Draft Date – Needs Current Date

  Hi. There is no current (open) discussion on my issue. I saved a draft on May 28, 2014. I finished and published it today (August 11, 2014.) It published with the date May 28, 2014, and is not the newest post on my blog. Is there a fix? Thanks. Stephanie. (reply to (email visible only to moderators and staff))

  There is: edit the post and change it to today’s date on the calendar icon in the right-hand side of the edit page. Good idea to do this PRIOR to publishing.

  @raincoaster: Thanks. Never had this issue before, so didn’t know. I have published older drafts before. ;-)

  And WordPress.com has changed how things work, probably to encourage people not to have so many drafts. They take up storage space but do nothing to increase readership.
