post not emailed

  My post I submitted this morning was not emailed to my followers. I have not changed any settings, what could be wrong?

  I just did a spot check of your followers and it looks like an email went out about your latest post shortly before you posted this thread. Is there someone particular who did not receive the email update?

  Hi, I get an email and my wife is also on my list and she didn’t get an email either. Not sure about this one. Weird. Any ideas?

  Can you give me the email addresses you and your wife used to sign up with? When you post them, they’ll be redacted from the public view, but I’ll still be able to see them.

  I also talked with some other people who follow my blog and they didn’t get it either. No one on my list got an email so 1. We need to find out why 2. How can I resend an email notification that there is a new posting?

  I just checked both of those email addresses. We successfully sent an email to the second one with the subject “[New post] The Daily Prayer” on November 1 at 17:07 UTC. Can you make sure to check the spam filter on that email address?

  However, the first email seems to only be subscribed to the comments on a particular post.

  Status

  You’ll need to subscribe to your site in order to receive the email notifications of new posts. You can do that by clicking on the Follow button at the top of your site:

  http://amannerworthy.com/

  Once you do that, make sure email notifications are turned on here:

  https://wordpress.com/following/edit/

  As for sending a new notification, you’ll need to publish a new post to trigger a new email notification.

  Thank you for your reply, however as i mentioned all the other followers I have spoken to did not receive a notification either. I would like to dig further into this issue being I think it’s an internal glitch since I have not had this problem before.
