Post notifications

    Is there a way to stop sending the entire post to subscribers and only send a notification saying a new post is up without it including the entire post?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Go to My Site ->Settings ->Writing

    Scroll down to Feed Settings, and click the toggle to limit feeds to excerpts only. That will also cause your email notifications to only contain a short excerpt of each post.

    You can also control this per-post by adding a more-block in your post at the point where you want the excerpt to cut off.
