Post on more than one page

    I understand that a page is static but why can i only post to the main page? I am trying to set up individual pages for my cast so they can be followed individually but also remain under the umbrella of the companies main blog.

    am i just stupid or is it not possible?

    I could just have them edit the pages constantly but i feel like there should be an easier solution….

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I’m sorry but there’s only one page in a blog (aside from Categories and Archives) which will automatically update when you publish posts. That means you can only “post” to one page.

    A WordPress blog can either be structured as a page based website or its conventional post based structure can be retained. That’s why understanding the the differences between posts and pages is key to decision making when selecting a theme, and setting up your WordPress.com blog

    Pages vs. Posts

    Have you considered that your could have each member have their own blog and the company blog could have RSS feed widgets to achieve “following” the members of the cast?

    You might also consider making cast members official users of the main blog but limiting their Admin access by carefully defining user roles.

    Using the Authors widget to give each “author” a special page where only their posts will appear? (Or even the Custom Menu, if your theme supports it, but need to test this a bit and of course, it’s way too late here.)

    @Jennifer
    The authors widget – good thinking! The authors widget is a good way to list the authors of your blog with a link to a page listing all of the their posts.

    (Aside: the author’s grid widget shows a grid of author avatar images.)

    Currently, these themes have the custom menu feature enabled: Twenty Ten, Structure, Vostok, Bueno, Enterprise, Notepad, Paperpunch, MistyLook, Under the Influence, Vigilance, Greyzed, Wu Wei, Blix, Cutline, Freshy, Contempt, Ambiru, Digg3, Koi and Modularity Lite.

    Other themes have custom menu widgets.
