post precedence
-
I’m not seeing my latest post first, when I go to my site. I have set the homepage preferences to ‘your latest posts’ in the customize section of Appearance, but I’m still seeing a post from June 2019 first! There is a small dialog box containing ‘featured’ over the photo in the first post: could this be the problem, or does that just refer to the image being featured in the post? I’ve clicked on all the ‘How can I show latest posts?’ links on the contact us page, but they all explain how to insert a ‘Latest Posts’ block, which I don’t want.
Thanks, Jon.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Good Morning –
When looking at the site I can see there are 2 sticky posts assigned. Sticky status means that post is always displayed at the top of the feed unless you remove the sticky status.
Both of these are sticky:
– A German Life: are we all Pomseline?
– Was Orwell guilty of bias? This is why you see
Keeping a Schedule of Events for your Novelas the third post in the feed.Click on My Site – Sites – Posts – A German Life: are we all Promseline? – Settings – Uncheck sticky box
Write back if you need more help with this.

Click on My Site – Sites – Posts – A German Life: are we all Promseline? – click on sticky under post name -> post – Status – uncheck stick to the top of the blogThanks again, Jon.
