Post publishing issues

  I wrote a new post, but I keep getting an error message when I try to publish it, saying that the post cannot be found (“This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?”) immediately after I hit the “Publish” button. I receive an email saying that my post has been published, but when I click the link, I get the error message. The post is public and visible. I’ve never had this problem before, but I’m returning to this blog after about 6 months of inactivity.
