Post visibility

I changed my theme today for my blog, little brickkitchen.com, and although my posts were all set up to appear with only the image and title on the home screen (edit-advanced settings-“image”), the entire post for each is shown on my home screen (as “standard”). How do I fix this? I only want my posts to appear with a photo and the title… allowing the reader to click on the link to read further. Let me know if you can help and how to fix this.

    Thank you,
    Allison

    Hi there!

It looks like you’ve changed your theme back now. The Forever theme automatically creates an excerpt of your post and only displays that on the front page. However, the theme Suits does not do this automatically. To get only an excerpt of your post to appear in Suits you would need to manually add the Read More tag to your post or create an Excerpt.

Let me know if I can help further!

Thank you! Yes, I actually just decided to change my theme back because I couldn’t figure out how to make the other work. I’m mainly having a problem with customizing a font. I go to appearance – customize – fonts, and the only option it gives me is a link to a type kit program. I tried setting one up through that, but didn’t work. How do I customize my fonts? Thank you for your help!

    Hi there!

Sorry about that! It looks like your account was still grandfathered into our old fonts system. I’ve reset this for you now and you’ll be able to edit your fonts like normal through the Customizer.

    Sorry about that! :)
