Post Visibility: clicking the ‘private’ post button doesn’t work (Only visible to site admins and editors.)

    I am trying to change the visibility on several posts from ‘public’ to ‘private’.

    The option to make them ‘private’ (only visible to site admins and editors) is not working. It doesn’t allow me to click that option, although I can indeed select ‘public’ or ‘password protected’.

    I have never had this problem before, but it occasionally happens on some of my posts, when I want to revert them from public view.

    I don’t want to delete the posts, but only mark them private and move them to a hidden area in the archive where only I can read them, not the public.
