Post won't share to facebook

Hi, as far as I can tell I have everything set properly to share new blog posts on Facebook. I have read the publicize instructions several times and have worked on this for thirty minutes, yet my new post is not being shared on Facebook. I am using the ipad on safari, but have also tried to share from the ipad and the iPhone app. The last two will not log into my Facebook account ( the app gets stuck after I log into Facebook and won’t go further) this is my second post ever. The first post was easily shared with a “share to Facebook” button, I think on the app. Please help. I was so excited abut starting this blog and am disappointed that this is so difficult.

When in your Sharing dashboard under Publicize (the top half of the screen), do you see your account as being connected to Facebook?

It does show that I am connected to Facebook, however it did not share my post to Facebook.
I did manage to share it by somehow navigating to a post preview and there was the share interface that a reader would find. That posted it to my Facebook wall. I’m sure it is supposed to be automatically connected based on my share settings in the dashboard. I can’t figure out why it isnt -
That is using a Sharing button and not the Publicize connection.
The only thing I can think to suggest is disconnect and then try reconnecting to Facebook again. In between, log out of both FB and WPcom and clear your browser cache and cookies (which will also log you out of every place else you are logged in on the web).
