Posted photos appear only as thumbnails, or not at all

    Hi – Sending photos from my iPhone to post full size on the blog sometimes works, but lately, frequently doesn’t. The image appears as a thumbnail (and does not enlarge when clicked on) or only as the little blue box with a question mark – a ‘link broken’ kind of thing. I haven’t changed anything about the phone’s camera – same file size, same resolution. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.

    The missing images have not been uploaded to your website. I see one with the URL https://private/var/mobile/Containers/Shared/AppGroup/2326B0D1-1F56-4110-A19A-CD9EC9797893/Media/image_04FEA368-B92C-4FBB-AE70-88948FCF07FF.IMG_6251.JPG. A normal URL for an image is e.g. https://empresstree.files.wordpress.com/2019/11/photo-2019-11-04-16-21-35.jpg?w=922

    My best guess is that there’s a network connection or instability issue that is interfering with the images being uploaded. Next time this happens, try resetting your network to see if it makes a difference. You could also try using a strong connection through a public library or coffee shop to see if there’s any difference.
