Posting larger images with fixed-width theme
-
I want to create a page to provide larger images as free downloads (to be used as desktop images).
When I upload a large, full-size image, it gets reduced to fit within the fixed width of my theme, Black-LetterHead.
What are my options for having someone be able to either a) click on the image and have it load full-size in a new page/window, or b) be able to click on the image and have it automatically download in a larger size, c) reset the width on a PAGE (not a post), but I think this is not possible, or c) change the theme for a particular PAGE (again, not a post, but I don’t think this is possible either). My blog: http://robinandfinchy.wordpress.com/
Are there other options for me? Right now the only thing I can think of is having a link to an external site, flikr or my personal website (which is not a blog) so that it can be displayed full size and have someone be able to right click and download. I’d like to keep it all within the wordpress blog if I can.
Thanks!

Options c and d not possible. You need option a – see here:
Uploading and inserting images: the three (plus one) link options
