Posting on Facebook
-
I am trying to post my latest blog post on Facebook. It is not taking. Instead I am assaulted by a WordPress attempt to ‘upgrade’ my blog service – for a fee, of course., while my posting progress bar crawls forward at an unfinishable rate.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi freddyjoesblog,
Instead I am assaulted by a WordPress attempt to ‘upgrade’ my blog service – for a fee, of course.
There is no fee for connecting a WordPress.com site to your social media accounts. I’ve checked your site and there is a working connection with your Facebook account, so any new posts should be shared automatically.
It be really helpful if you could make a screenshot of the page where you are seeing this message. Please upload it to Snaggy or Cloudup and send me a link.
Once I can see a screenshot, I’ll look into this further for you.

My blog post finally loaded onto Facebook but it took inordinately long to do so. The WordPress “upgrade” shoved in my face while I was waiting for the upload was annoying. It looked deliberate, as a way to brow-beat your clients into a new service, since the regular one was so slow. That's how it looked from here. FB

Hello again, as @gemmacevans suggested, please take a screenshot if you run into this again and post the link to it here so Staff can take a look at it.

Hi freddyjoesblog,
Where did you see this prompt to upgrade? Did it appear on your site or on Facebook while you were waiting for the post to come through? We don’t force upgrades on our users so I’m interested to see where you saw this. If it happens again, just send me a screenshot.
