Posting on my blog, the page rarely gives the "post successful" message

  Posts don’t seem to complete posting but they are visible on my blog. Previously, I would get a message saying that my post has successfully posted. These days, it just seems to time out instead! If I leave the page and go to my blog, I can see the post has posted. Why is this?

  I’m so sorry to hear about this. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to reproduce this issue.

  Is there an error of some sort? Would it be possible to show me a screencast of this happening? That would be extremely helpful in troubleshooting this.

  Once you have the screencast, please upload it to your Media > Library page and I’d be happy to take a further look!

  Hi Grace,
  Sorry for the late reply. I’ve not had anything to test posting with recently! I’ve got a print screen shot of my blog and how it looks when try and post something. As you can see with the thin green bar at the top, it seems to make progress with posting, then it just stops, just before the end. Image

  I’m not too sure how you could replicate it to be honest, could it just be my laptop?

  Hm, it could be just independent to your setup, but it can be a number of things. So let’s try to troubleshoot this:

  Can you please try clearing out your cache and cookies using the guide below?

  Solve Common Browser Issues

  If that doesn’t help can you disable all browser extensions by going to Settings in your Chrome browser?

  Also, please make sure you are using the latest version of your browser:

  http://browsehappy.com

  Then if all else fails, can you try using a different browser like Firefox to see if you get the same result?

  Aha! I’ve just updated my version of Google Chrome and that seems to have solved the problem!
