Posts not appear when performing Google search

  Hi there,

  I read the WP help page regarding this issue (https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/), and I am unable to resolve it.
  Previous posts that have been added to the site I manage (illinoisalumni.org) have been accessible through Google’s search function. However, it’s been brought to my attention that recent posts (ex | https://illinoisalumni.org/2017/11/15/priya-shah-simply-good/) do not show up when performing a search.

  I would appreciate guidance on this issue.

  WordPress.com automatically sends notifications to Google with every post and page update. The search engines can take 4-6 weeks or more to add any new sites. Connecting a Google account with verified site ownership through Google’s webmaster tools may help register your site for inclusion. Please contact Google for more information.
