posts not available to readers who explore
-
For the past week, I’ve noticed that my posts (which I give common tags and categories) are not available when I try to access them using the “Explore” feature, that allows you to Explore tags by topic. This means only those who follow my blog can read my posts, unless someone by chance finds my blog page directly. Thus, I can’t attract new followers. Why is this happening? Is their a new feature or new policy to WordPress that I am unaware of?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Is there a particular reason that you only categorize your posts and rarely apply tags? In theory, a category should be enough. But I would encourage you to use the tags as well.

It just seems simpler to do it that way. Using tags in addition seems redundant. But I’m willing to do it, if that’s a requirement to get my posts out into the blogosphere.

Thanks for the suggestion. Actually, I did test it. But it does not work. Categories used to work just fine until about a week ago. Now, neither categories, nor tags work.

Let’s give it 24 hours. Some of this stuff is not instant and replies on caches being updated.
If you don’t see a change in 24 hours, post back here and I will continue digging.

I’ve given it more than 24 hours, but still no luck. I gave my last 2 posts a category and a tag. But they didn’t show up in the “Explore” feature. I’m wondering if my account has been flagged for any reason, by another staffer. I’ve received no communications to indicate that, but would you be willing to check into it, as a possibility?

Okay, I’ve got it sorted out now.
I added a nonsense tag on your most recent post as a test:

You can delete the tag as soon as you take a look yourself.
