Posts Not Showing Up on Blog Page, Among Other Problems

  I’ve been using WordPress on my domain for a static site. Now, months later, I need to add a blog, but am having problems.

  1. My posts don’t show up on the page assigned to my blog.

  2. When I preview a post, there’s none of the post styling you would expect to see from an installed theme (I’m using the Rare theme). For instance, the featured image doesn’t show up. There’s no date/category/author line. Here’s an example Please ignore the awful styling of the post itself. When I started running into problems, I stopped working on it and figured I should get the main problems fixed first.

  3. I attempted to import some pre-designed posts in xml from a plug-in to hopefully solve the problem, but WordImporter isn’t working. There should be a button to import xml, but it doesn’t show up in the Tools.

  Any help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!
