Posts not showing up under tags in Reader

I had this issue a few months ago and it was not resolved (I haven’t posted for a while). Whenever I make a new post I do not see it under the tag in the reader. For example, I recently posted a simple poem under the poetry tag and it will not show up. I’m not an advanced WordPress user and I haven’t modified my settings since I signed up about a year ago. Any help is appreciated.

I’m curious, do I need to be a premium member to install a cache-clearing plugin? I have never cleared my site cache and am leaning toward it as the cause.
