Posts on other page then main page / Comments

    Hello,
I only have my blog for a few days now but now i have a question.
I already used the search, but perhaps not with the right key words. I didnt find a solution.

My question is how can i make a post appear on a different page than the main page?
Because when i create a new post it appears automatically on the main page. Can i change this? I didnt find a menu or tool bar to put the post on a specific page…

The second question is why there is no comment possibility on (some) pages even if i allow comments in the settings of the page. I found a topic in this forum which said, that this depends on the theme. Is that true?

    Thanks for any help!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Re your first question, see here:

(Except point “e”: in the theme you’re using it sort of works.)

Re your second question: No it’s not theme dependent. If you’re getting no comment box although the setting on the page editor screen is set to allow comments, go to Settings>Discussion in your dashboard sidebar and make sure the option “Automatically close comments on articles older than [ ] days” isn’t ticked.
