Posts ordering

    show most recent posts first, at the top

    Hi,

    Every WordPress.com site displays the posts page with posts in reverse chronological order by default, most recent posts at the top. Two things may interfere with this order:

    1. a sticky post.
    2. If two or more posts are published within a short period of time on the same date, the order in which they are displayed might be mixed up.

    If the issue is a sticky post, you may fix that my unchecking the option that says “Stick to the front page” in the Publish module of a post editor.

    The second issue may be resolved by changing the publish times of one or more of the posts so that the difference, in time, between them is greater. I don’t know what the minimum should be.
