How can I create a default spot for my new posts? I don’t want them to automatically load to the home page. I want them to load under the ‘Posts’ tab. btw Setting up a new blog is not very user friendly. :/

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

It looks like you’ve assigned your “About” page as the static front page at Customize > Static Front Page. At the same location, you may assign another page on which to display your posts. The “Posts” item in your footer menu will then link to your posts page.

I want them to load under the ‘Posts’ tab.

Because the bar menu on the Vintage Camera theme is at the bottom of the screen, sub-menu items will not drop-down. Instead they extend upward. However, links to posts won’t automatically be included in a menu. Each post must be added individually, and nested under (though it will appear over, in this case) the top level item:

    • Add a link to each post as described in the Additional menu items section of the support page
    • Nest the posts beneath the top level menu item as described in the Organize your menu section of the support page.

Thanks so much for your reply! I think I was able to assign the Posts page as the default destination for my posts following these instructions.

You’re welcome! Yes, the link is working now. Good job. : )
