Post’s problem

    Dear support’s team:
    I’ve set up the password for some of my posts, but It usually has a problem: despite of the fact that the users input the correct password, they still cannot access to the post. So I want to ask that what is happening with my site.

    Hi there,

    I think it’s possible that the correct password is not being entered (as there could be an unwanted space or something else). Are you able to replicate the issue by yourself or are you depending on the user’s reports?

    Also, please note that your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and is hosted elsewhere.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are different, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on WordPress.com.

    You can reach out to your host for help with your site. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and could also be able to help you here.
