Potential upgrade

Hello, I am wanting to build a website for my business. Unfortunately, I do not have the funds to sign up for your Business site. I am wanting to purchase the Personal Site package for right now. If I choose to upgrade in a few months will it be an option for me to do without having to pay additional costs?
If I do purchase the Personal Package will I still be able to generate traffic through my site?
Please get back to me as soon as possible as I am trying to get my website build relatively fast.

If you decide to upgrade plans while in the middle of having another plan, you’ll see an upgrade discount while checking out if you’re eligible:
Everything will be prorated base on the price difference between plans and the remaining months you have in your monthly subscription.
And yes, you will be able to generate traffic, even if you are on a free plan with a few suggestions:
- Connect your site to your social networks such as Facebook and Twitter via Publicize
- Use appropriate tags and categories for your posts so that people in the WordPress community can find your post
- You can gain a following pretty quickly if you blog regularly and consistently
- With the above in mind, make sure that you are posting content that is high in quality and unique. Search engines will be much more friendlier to you if that is the case
