Poverty Journalism site
-
Hi,
I’m not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I have a few questions to ask of the more learned members of the WordPress community.
I just recently became in charge of a website covering poverty journalism in the United States, http://www.onpoverty.org. The site is run through Washington and Lee’s Journalism department, and student involvement in the project is encouraged and mandated to some degree. When working on the site last week with some of the students, however, I felt as if the whole process of updating the site was extremely cumbersome and inefficient. While the site at the moment is somewhat bare, we have lofty goals for the future, and eliminating unnecessary time and energy while simultaneously having access to new features will be vital to the growth of the site.
What I hope to gain from this is any insight that one might have on how the WordPress platform could benefit the website and the associated problems that I have described. Do you think that WordPress would help us bring the site to fruition and increase its accessibility?
Thank you very much.

Without more specific goals, I don’t think we will be able to be much help.
