Premium Access and Domain

I paid for a premium account on January 25th but I see no access to Live Chat, acknowledgement of receipt of funds via Manage Purchases, or any indication/verification of what my domain name is (willettebelieves.blog still shows as ‘available’). When will I have this information? Thank you.

  • Hi there,

I’m checking your account and do not see any purchase history at all. Did you receive any notification or receipt confirming purchase? Do you happen to have another account in which the purchase may have been made?

Let us know – happy to help!

Thank you for your response. I did receive two emails of acknowledgement but nothing about where or how to pay, so I thought I would get a bill at the end of the month–or something like that. Is that the problem? How or where do I pay?

  • Hi there,

You should be able to purchase the plan here: http://wordpress.com/plan

Information on how to register a domain is here:

Let me know if you have any trouble.

I think there’s a problem somewhere along the way. Several hours ago I was able to access a check-out form but when I entered my phone number on the form, I was asked to include my “country code” even though I had already filled in the United States as my country. I mentioned it to a friend and was told that WordPress doesn’t require that kind of info. I was unable to continue to check out without the code. I received your email and tried the two addresses you listed and both took me to the general internet page where WordPress is listed. I’ll try again tomorrow morning.

  • We actually do require the country code. For the U.S., the format should be +1.xxxxxxx.

Try adding that and let me know if it works. Thanks!

Yes. The format was given on the form and I did ask a couple people and 3 agencies about the number too, but they don’t know what it is either. Do you have a register there that shows country codes, or who does. And can you tell me why it is needed when the country name is already selected on the form?

  • The country code for U.S. is +1. So, you would enter +1 then your number. +1.5555555.

LOL! sometimes the most simple things are the most difficult. I finally remembered to “google” country code, and got the answer. Problem resolved. Thank you so much for your assistance. Have a wonderful day !

  • You’re welcome! Glad you were able to get it solved!
