Premium membership questions

Hi,
I was thinking of signing up for the Premium membership but want to make sure it will allow me the customization I need. I have the Hatch theme, which is very nice and clean, although I’d love to remove the text to the right on posts where it says ‘Date, Author, Category’ as well as the option to move between posts (https://nemooredesign.wordpress.com/2013/04/22/pretty-nice-us-you-all-we-12/). I only plan on having a few pieces up at a time so I won’t need any of those. I’d like to be able to include a short description of my work to the right or in the body of the post like on the SquareSpace theme Avenue (https://www.squarespace.com/templates/avenue) which is very similar to Hatch. I would also like to remove the Header image from the inside of the post although leave it on the main static page. Lastly, I was hoping to add a secondary page with more posts although I would like it to be password protected. As this is my portfolio site I would like to be able to host a handful of recent works to show clients/employers and archive my older work without having to share them with everyone. Ideally, the second page would have a password but no username- so I can easily share the password with family and friends who often want to see more/personal work.

The Premium plan gives you access to Custom Design:

CSS enables you to change the appearance of your site, rather than the functionality. So while you’d be able to remove the date, author and category information, you wouldn’t be able to change the way the site works.

Yes, you can do that. The Portfolio content type will let you manage all your portfolio projects in one place. There is more information here:

One option here is to invite your friends and family to be Followers or Viewers of your site — all you need is their email address. You can then choose a role for them:
