Presentation of Sub-Categories vs Categories

    Hi Admin!

    In the efforts of organizing my blog (Baskerville 2 format), I am attempting to create a ‘Page’ on the menu list that shows my blogs based on the topics I would like to write about, in a dynamic grid layout.

    I understand that isn’t possible (only the homepage allows it) and created a ‘Category’ instead in the menu. However, I noticed that there is also ‘Sub Category’. Now, some of my posts may belong to the same category, but a different sub category i.e.

    Category: Soups
    Sub Category: Tomato | Mushroom | Pumpkin etc

    My question: Is there a way to utilize the Sub-Category function within the Category menu to further organize my blog posts?
