  How do I disable the public editing feature for my site? My is jdebardeleben.wordpress.com.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  Public editing is not an option on WordPress.com sites. Only the administrators and editors of a site will see the edit links on the visible posts and pages of the site.
