Price of domain?

    If you buy domain mapping now it says it’s $13 a year, but mine says it’s charging me $26 a year. Why the difference?

    Hi there,

    Please note that domain mapping and domain registration is different. Domain mapping is for a domain that you have registered/purchased elsewhere and just need to point it to your WordPress.com site.

    If you don’t have a domain and need one, you would need the domain registration and the cost would depend on if you want Private Registration ($26/year) or not ($18/year). You can see if Private is right for you here:

    I see that you recently registered bakingandmath.com. It was obviously not registered elsewhere as you were able to register it. So, you should be set!
