Primary Site
-
Hi there!
The primary site associated to my WordPress account isn’t one I own. I have recently caught the writers bug again and would like to start writing but not to redirect to that blog if possible.
What can I do to change it? I have read through FAQ and it seems I need to be the owner to change it, but I’m not so I can’t.
Any assistance will be appreciated!
Thanks.

Hi there,
Your account’s primary site is set to https://minecraftmondayblog.wordpress.com/, as that’s the only site connected to this WordPress.com account.
Only a WordPress.com site or a Jetpack-connected site on which you’re a user can be set as primary site on your account. The primary site setting determines what site’s dashboard is opened by default when you click on My Sites.
I see you have added https://www.twitch.tv/theed3 as your Website URL. The Website URL determines where your username links to when you like or comment on someone else’s posts, and has nothing to do with the primary site for your WordPress.com account.
That site is not a WordPress site at all, so it’s completely impossible to set that as the primary site for your account.

Kokkieh, thanks for the reply.
Makes perfect sense.
I realised that the account I had started a WordPress blog and the one I’d logged into were separate so I was under the impression I had another blog.
After reading your reply I had another look and I’m back on track.
