  I’m trying to make my blog private and the support section says it’s under settings, but I don’t see a “privacy” tab when I go to settings?

  Are you the Admin of the blog logged in under the username account that registered the blog? If you are then see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
