Privacy

Hi there,
I have just started a blog with you. I want to keep it private however it seems that the default setting is to make it public and information on how to keep it private is proving very difficult to find. According to your online support, it should be very straightforward; as indicated by the page accessed through the link below.

However, when I go to Settings, there is no option for privacy settings, please click on link below. I’d appreciate if you could please clarify this; I am very disappointed that this is not as strairghtforward as it ought to be and feel that once again, it is a case of an online company trying to trick its users into sharing information they would rather not.

It’s exactly where the page you quoted says it is……
Dashboard >> Settings >> Reading >> Site Visibility
You may be looking at Account settings instead.

Hi there,
I didn’t realise I was posting on a public forum! Thanks a million for your reply; I’m clearly not technical so it really helped, your mentioning the dashboard. I found it and have changed my settings to private.
