    If my site is not ‘public’ will I still be able to share posts on Facebook and Linked In?

    Hi there,

    You’ll be able to connect your site and share content there, yes. But those sites won’t be able to show previews of your content – they’ll just show the bare link to your site. And only people who have been added as viewers on your site will be able to reach your content by clicking those links.

    To be clear, this is if your site is set to private.

    If your site is just hidden from search engines, sharing would work exactly the same as on a fully-public site – the hidden setting just asks search engines not to crawl your site, but otherwise doesn’t affect the functionality of your site in any way.
