  Dear WordPress,

  I’ve lost access to my account & email address. Please set my blog to private because it contains very personal informations.

  Hi there,

  Because this involves account access and privacy, we can’t make administrative changes to a site’s settings on a user’s behalf. To protect site owners, privacy settings must be updated directly by the owner once access is verified.

  If you no longer have access to your email, please follow our Recover Your Account guide to submit the official Account Recovery Form with your proof of ownership (see Verify Your Account Ownership for required details).

  Once you regain access to your account, you will be able to set your site to private by navigating to Settings → Reading in your dashboard and choosing Private under the Site Visibility section, as outlined in our Make Your Website Private guide.

  To protect your details, please avoid posting personal email addresses or financial information here in the public forums. Our Account Recovery team will follow up with you directly via email once your form is submitted.
