Under my Settings- Reading there is only one button regarding privacy, which reads:
Search Engine Visibility: Search Engine Visibility Discourage search engines from indexing this site
It is up to search engines to honor this request.
When I put my name in google, my blog doesn’t come up. I don’t know a thing about code. Is there an easy way to get my blog to show up on google?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you selected “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” under Site Visibility, effectively you’ve told search engines “Shoo! Move along! Humans can see my site, but not you.”
If you want your site to be indexed by search engines, change your Site Visibility setting to “Allow search engines to index this site”. Then wait patiently while they do. It can take a few weeks before they crawl your site again and notice the change in your settings.

If you are the site owner and logged in with that account, you should see the three options mentioned in the link I gave above.
If you don’t see this and you are the site owner, please take a screenshot and upload it to your site’s Media Library and then post the link in this discussion.

Hi, it seems you’ve gotten this worked out as I was able to find your WordPress.com site in Google’s search returns.
But I have a further question.
While searching for your name on Google, I not only found results for your WordPress.com site, but also a site not hosted on WordPress.com with your name as the domain name. The content seems to be the same and I assume that this is also your site.
Having 2 sites with the same content will push both sites down in search engine results. What exactly is it that you want to do?
