Private Blog?

Hello Everyone.
I just joined wordpress about a month back and i maintain a private blog about my thought. I chose the option to not have the blog shown up in search engines such as google etc. But the problem is when I do search in google, my blog name and linkc omes up and i can access it. How do I prevent this? I want the whole blog to be hidden type of. I even chose the allow only selected users to access the blog, but even then google links it up and shows it. I really need some help in this! I will greatly appreciate it!

You can access it probably because you are signed in and WordPress.com can tell you’re authorized to view that blog.
In every case so far reported with a truly private blog, what has happened is either they were public initially and search engines got it OR one of their friends did something like post “Hey, check out my friend Jane Doe’s new blog” and put a link in. That is how search engines find you. The only solution to that is to get more sophisticated friends! But if your blog is private, it shouldn’t be a real problem because nobody can read what you’ve written there except the few people you’ve invited.

If you want me to test it, you can put the link here. If it’s a private blog there is no way I will be able to access it. ONLY staff or authorized users will be able to access it. Everyone else will just get bounced to the WordPress.com front page.
You should be able to test it yourself by signing out, clearing cookies and cache, and trying to view it.
