Privatizing my blog

  i want to make a blog private while i fix a few things. How do i change that because i know that right now it’s discoverable by anyone who has the link or may fine me through wordpress or just google? It’s just temporary and then after i am ready, i will make it public again.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You set it to Private on the dashboard Settings->Reading page. Note that once you set it public, it can be weeks before search engines pick up on it, because they will have noticed you don’t want them looking at you.
