Problem adding a new contributor

  I have invited another contributor. He received the email and clicked the “Accept Invitation” button. But he still does not appear as a contributor and his invitation still has a “waiting” status. Why is that after he accepted the invitation?

  We he logged into his WordPress.com account when he clicked accept?
