  I have tried using the incognito mode and I keep on getting the same message! What’s happening? Why is it so hard to purchase a domain?

  Still looking into this. We wanted to see if a few workarounds could work for you. Have you tried a different browser as the issue may be related to local storage?

  Also, are you adding the domain via this page?

  https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/

  If not, I would try adding the domain using that page and see if that works for you.
