problem uploading images to website

    Hi I am recieving these messages below when im trying to upload images to my WordPress website library;

    Missing a temporary folder.
    Failed to write file to disk.
    Failed to write file to disk.
    The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2020/06.
    The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2020/06.

    Hi there, from the description you gave, it seems like your site is using the open source WordPress software rather than being hosted here on the WordPress.com platform. Just to be sure, what’s the address of the site you need help with? Just to clarify, this support forum assists users hosted on the WPcom platform.

    If your site is using the WP software, head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.

    WPcom (where we are ) and WP are separate entities with different documentation and support forums. More information about the differences can be found here: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
