Problem with account and blog renaming

  I’m managing the transfer of an old friends’ account, a friend dead some months ago.
  Before we found her old password I created a new blog with the address annastaccatolisa1.wordpress.com.

  Now we found that password, but doing some trying it seems I’ve locked the username.

  The old username was right (annastaccatolisa), but now it’s become astaccatol1.

  What I’d want is to have the username back at annastaccatolisa and the blog address at annastaccatolisa.wordpress.com: if I try to change them, wordpress tells me they are in use, but it’s not true since that username was the previous version before my attempts!

  Please, how can I solve this?

  The address annastaccatolisa.wordpress.com is reserved and cannot be registered,

  A blog can be registered with that name but you need to work with the staff and you need to have access to the original account / email to do so
