Problem with connecting the new domain:

My newformdesign.com domain, that went to my wordpress site I’m hosting on fatcow.com has expired like 2 years ago, and when I tried to renew it, my host said it’s not available any more. So I got a new domain, giproductdesign.com. When I tried to connect it, the only thing I keep getting from your site is 2 choices: transfer a domain I own or connect my domain. When trying ‘transfer’, it says ‘your domain not transferrable’. Then when trying ‘connect’, literally the only plan you offer me is wordpress.com pro for $180. I’m not about to pay a million dollars to simply reactivate my old design portfolio. Can you give me any other option here to connect my new domain to the existing site that doesn’t demand $180 for it??

If you want to connect your domain to your wordpress.com website, you do need the WordPress Pro plan. A fresh registered domain cannot be transferred for 60 days according to ICAN-regulation. But you can connect it.
