problem with creating an internal link to a blog post

    I have had a wordpress blog for years and used the classic editor. I created a new blog and am using the new block editor. I encountered a problem when creating a link to a blog post within the new blog. I noticed that in the new block editor, there is no dropdown menu to link to posts or pages within the blog (which is standard with the classic editor), so I had created the link by going to the URL of the post and inserting that. The link was working for me, but people without a WordPress account got a message saying they needed to create an account to see the content of the link. I fixed the problem by reverting to the classic editor and creating the link from the dropdown menu. Is this a bug that others have found? Is there a way to create a good internal link without having to revert to going to the classic editor? Thanks. Carol Petranek
