Problem with custom permalink

  setting up a new blog. Changed the permalink structure from default to %category%/%postname% but it does not seem to work. Even new articles end up as 404’s when I click the link to them.
  Any ideas?

  here at wordpress.com we can’t set up our permalink like that
  so I would have to say your in the wrong forum….

  You need to direct your question over at the wp..org
  forums… http://wordpress.org/support

  WordPress.com or WordPress.org ? The difference.
