Problem with header image file.

  I have a 606 x 288 pixel .jpeg that I’m trying to upload as a header image in the twenty-eleven theme. Despite the actual size of the image (resized in Adobe Photoshop), WordPress continues to show that the height needs to be cropped by at least 50% in order for it to fit into the header image holder. FYI, I’ve also uploaded the image to my media library.

  Hi there,

  For best results, you’ll need to upload a header image at Appearance -> Header that’s at least 1000 pixels wide and 288 pixels tall.
